Improving Product Discovery & Conversions via Agentic Commerce
With a vast multi-category catalog and over 185K monthly visitors, the platform faced high product discovery complexity. Traditional keyword-based search failed for long, intent-driven user queries (e.g. "best oil for hair fall and dandruff"). This led to decision fatigue, low purchase confidence, and higher drop-offs during the discovery phase.
We deployed our Agentic-powered conversational commerce assistant capable of understanding long, natural language problem queries. It maps user problems directly to relevant products, maintains conversational memory and context across turns (allowing refinement by price, usage, etc.), and resolves pre-purchase comparison questions alongside post-purchase queries like order tracking and return policy FAQs.
Replaces strict keyword searching with natural language problem-to-solution mapping (e.g. comparing immunity products).
Remembers prior filters and user preferences across chat turns to refine suggestions step-by-step without restarting searches.
Instantly handles order tracking, returns, replacements, and FAQ queries to reduce load on manual support teams.
Add-to-cart rate increased from 6% to 7.5% (a 25% relative lift).
20-25% of all add-to-cart actions on the site are now influenced by chatbot journeys.
Zero-results search rate reduced by 15-20% through better intent mapping.
